Don Sayre developed and delivered the first graduate-level studies on ISO 14001 in the U. S. through the University of Findlay. Adjunct Faculty member with the University and the National Environmental Management and Education Center (NEMEC). Lead Instructor for first EARA-accredited ISO 14001 course in the U. S. and one of the first six ISO 14001 courses accredited by the ANSI/ASQ Registrar Accreditation Board.

Instructor for IRCA-accredited ISO 9001 course presented to the Maryland Consortium of ISO 9000 Companies. First Lead Instructor to India for training on EARA & RAB accredited ISO 14001 auditing. Lead Instructor to the Thailand Environment Institute on ISO 14001 auditing and environmental management.

Consultant on quality management, regulatory compliance, startup and operational readiness for US Department of Energy nuclear and legacy waste projects throughout the Weapons Complex. Invited speaker to the Tri-State Chambers of Commerce conference on ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (Cincinnati, Ohio, representing SAIC and Alamo Learning Systems).

Invited speaker to the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management conference, speaking on the application of Title 10 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 50 Appendix B nuclear quality assurance requirements; Scottsdale, Arizona.

Wrote, directed and narrated first video for the American Society for Quality, Energy and Environmental Division.
